About the app

Terms of Use

Effective date: 15 September 2026.

1. Operator and contact

BeBartender is operated by Marek Przybolewski, referred to as the “Operator”. For app, agreement and complaint enquiries, email contact@bebartender.com.

Address: Jasna 7/63, 82-200 Malbork, Poland.

2. What the app provides

BeBartender is a mobile cocktail catalogue. It lets you browse recipes and collections, search for cocktails, record owned ingredients in My Bar, find matching recipes and missing ingredients, save favourites and submit ratings. Ratings contribute to aggregate scores and rankings. You can also report a bug or suggest a feature and share a recipe image through your device's sharing menu.

The current version is free: there are no subscriptions, in-app purchases or advertisements. Device and internet costs depend on your agreements with their providers. Any future paid features will require separate terms and your explicit decision to purchase; these Terms do not authorise charges.

The bebartender.com website provides app information, documents and contact details. Browsing it is free and does not require a BeBartender account. The Privacy Policy describes infrastructure and email providers and how personal data is processed. Using their technical services does not change the identity of the Operator responsible for the BeBartender service.

3. Requirements and your account

The app is intended for people aged 18 and over. When preparing or serving drinks, follow the laws where you are, including any higher local age restrictions concerning alcohol.

You need a supported iOS or Android device, the installed app, an internet connection and your own account with a sign-in provider available on your device — Google or Apple. Check the current release listing in the App Store or Google Play for its system requirements. The interface is available in Polish and English. Use updates that maintain compatibility and security; the information accompanying a release specifies its device compatibility.

The agreement to use BeBartender free of charge is formed for an indefinite period when you first successfully sign in, after these Terms have been made available to you with notice that continuing to sign in means accepting them. Account features become available after sign-in. There is no minimum period for keeping an account. You can save or reproduce these Terms. Personal data information is provided in the separate Privacy Policy; accepting these Terms is not consent to additional data processing purposes.

Protect access to your device and Google or Apple account. Do not send the Operator passwords or sign-in tokens. If you suspect that your account has been compromised, secure it with your sign-in provider and notify the Operator. Unauthorised access may allow someone to read or change data linked to your account. The Privacy Policy describes session storage, settings and other device data.

4. Using the service

Use your own account and the app's features lawfully. Do not submit unlawful reports, infringe other people's rights, try to access someone else's data or bypass security controls. Do not disrupt the service, send spam or manipulate ratings through fake accounts or automated submissions. Reports should contain the information needed to explain the issue; avoid including other people's personal data.

Recipes help you prepare cocktails; they do not assess your health, fitness to drive or the safety of a particular amount of alcohol. Check product ingredients and labels, particularly allergen information, and follow safe food preparation practices. This guidance does not limit the Operator's legal liability.

5. Materials and sharing

Using the app does not transfer rights in its software, brand, photographs or other protected materials to you. To the extent of the rights the Operator is entitled to grant, you may use these materials through the app's features for your own purposes, including sharing recipe cards created by its sharing feature. Keep visible attribution and branding on a shared card. Other use of protected materials requires a legal basis or permission from the relevant rights holder; your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Submitting a suggestion or report does not transfer your copyright to the Operator. The Operator may review it and use the information it contains to handle the issue and develop the app's features.

For an app downloaded from the App Store, the software licence is also governed by Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement, unless another applicable licence has been provided for that release. These Terms govern the BeBartender service and do not replace Apple's standard licence.

6. Availability and changes

The Operator works to maintain the app's proper operation and fix identified faults. Interruptions may result from maintenance, failures or connection problems. The Operator will give advance notice of planned significant interruptions and address disruptions on his side within a reasonable time. This does not exclude rights concerning conformity of the service with the agreement.

The catalogue, collections and rankings are updated as part of the service. Changes to other features may be necessary to comply with law, resolve security threats, accommodate changes to systems and services needed to run the app, or improve compatibility and accessibility. Changes under this free agreement will not result in charges.

The Operator will notify you of a significant feature or Terms change, its description, reason and effective date on a durable medium, such as the body of an email, at least 30 days in advance. A shorter period may apply only to an urgent change required by law or necessary to resolve a security threat; notice will then be provided as soon as possible. Changes do not apply retrospectively or remove accrued claims.

You may end the agreement before a change takes effect. If a change significantly and negatively affects access to or use of the service, you also retain the right to terminate immediately and free of charge within 30 days of the change or receipt of the notice, whichever is later. Changes requiring your express agreement will not be introduced solely because you do not reply.

7. Ending the agreement and deleting your account

You may stop using the app at any time and terminate the agreement immediately and free of charge by deleting your account in the app or sending a clear statement to contact@bebartender.com. Include information identifying the account, such as your sign-in email address. The Operator may request necessary confirmation that the account is yours. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not itself delete your server account.

To delete your account in the app, open Profile → Delete account and confirm your decision. An internet connection is required. Once the server confirms deletion, your account, bar and favourites are deleted, and the app ends the local session and clears recent searches and unsent diagnostics on that device. There is no waiting period and deletion cannot be undone. If the operation fails, the app shows an error and lets you retry.

Without installing the app, you can send a request to the contact address using the instructions on the Account deletion page. The Operator will identify the account, verify your authority to request deletion if necessary, and confirm the outcome by email. Requests are handled without undue delay; information about the action taken is provided within one month. Any justified extension follows the rules in the Privacy Policy.

Ratings and feedback remain after account deletion without a link to the account identifier. Ratings continue to contribute to aggregate results and have no set expiry; they remain until the relevant cocktail is deleted. Feedback retains its content and any technical context for no longer than 12 calendar months from the original receipt of the report. Its text may contain personal data even after the account link is removed. You can request erasure of that data under the rules in the Privacy Policy and on the account deletion page; feedback retention does not remove these rights. Signing in again after deletion creates a new, empty account.

The Operator may temporarily restrict access to the extent necessary to stop a specific security threat or serious breach of section 4. He will explain the reason and offer contact to clarify the issue, unless disclosing particular information is prohibited by law or would expose how security controls can be exploited. Restrictions are lifted when the cause ends. Termination for a breach follows an unsuccessful request to stop it within an appropriate period; immediate termination is possible where the seriousness of the breach makes continued safe or lawful service impossible. You may complain about the decision.

If the Operator ends BeBartender's operation, he will give at least 30 days' notice and allow requests to receive data before closure. A shorter period is possible only to the extent required by law or necessary to address an immediate security threat. Ending the agreement does not remove data rights or claims arising from earlier use of the app.

8. Withdrawal, complaints and your rights

You may withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of entering into it, without giving a reason or incurring costs. Send an unambiguous statement to the Operator's contact address before the period expires. You may use the form at the end of these Terms, but it is optional. Starting to use the free app does not remove this right. Following withdrawal, the agreement is treated as not having been concluded and access to account features ends; data is subject to the deletion rules in the Privacy Policy. After 14 days, you may still end the agreement under section 7.

You may send a complaint to contact@bebartender.com or the Operator's address in section 1. Describe the problem, when it occurred and the resolution you seek. No special form is required. The Operator will reply within 14 days of receipt on a durable medium, such as email. Any applicable statutory consequences of failing to reply within that period remain unaffected.

The Operator is responsible for conformity of the service with the agreement under applicable law. Where consumer rights concerning digital services apply, they include, in particular, requesting that the service be brought into conformity and withdrawing in circumstances provided by law. Nothing excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Information about assistance and out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes is available from the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK). Access to a particular procedure depends on its rules and any required consent of the parties; the Operator will provide the legally required position following an unresolved complaint. Your right to apply to a competent court remains unaffected.

Polish law applies to the agreement. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of protection under mandatory provisions of the law of your habitual residence that would apply without this choice. These Terms do not require proceedings exclusively before a court at the Operator's location. The Polish and English versions are intended to provide the same terms; discrepancies cannot restrict rights granted to users by applicable law.
